Longtime childhood friends, Ksenia and Jana opened their first boutique in Nolita. While the style at the time involved yards of lace and layers of tulle, V E K A established itself as a unique space featuring indie designers intent on challenging the traditional notions of bridal.  Jana and Ksenia pride themselves on the relationships they have built with their designers over the past 20 years.  With deep reverence for hand craftsmanship, Jana and Ksenia seek to carry brands who produce their made to order pieces in house, with a focus on sustainable practices and supporting local artisans.  Experts in their craft, they offer brides a path to finding the ideal gown that is fitted to perfection by their highly skilled alterations team.  A truly intimate experience, at V E K A brides can expect to find solace in the search process and looks that allow them to express their authentic, individual style.  The boutique is currently located on the charming Atlantic Avenue in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.
